I like yelling at children that I don’t know

6 09 2009

Apparently..

So far I’ve scared the crap out of a bunch of kids that have been doing things that they shouldn’t.

First there was “boy kicking geese”, Who I screamed at, and told that I would run his bike over and kill him.

There was a group of little kids asking me for cigarettes when I was taking out the trash, I asked their ages, and the one was like “She’s ThirTAIN” I said get the hell out of here.

Then there was a bunch of little boys throwing salt all over the place from the city salt depot conveniently placed next to my house.

But the clincher here is when these two old ladies were out in the yard, I was ignoring them at first and then the younger old woman started taking pics of our house, so I whipped open the door and yelled EXCUSE ME CAN I HELP YOU!? The reason this fits in is that the woman taking pics of the house is the 96 year old woman who was still in the car’s, child. Which means thats another child I don’t know that I’m yelling at.

Yelling at kids you don’t know feels good. You should try it. See some little fuckers smoking? Scream at them.
See a 12 year old pummeling a defenseless 10 year old? Scream at them!

You’ll feel better that you did. Calling the cops won’t help, kids will run or say they didn’t do anything, but screaming at them, makes them shit their pants and lock them selves in their bedroom so its a perfect lesson to teach little billy.

I’m out

Quick Movie Reviews

12 08 2009

The past couple weeks we watched a few movies (Theater, DVD, other sources..) and here is a rundown of if you should see them and a brief explanation if you shouldn’t.

The CollectorYes – Very twisted story and just the gore is a good enough reason to see it.

The Haunting in ConnecticutYes

Adventureland - 50/50 – Trailer makes it look hilarious, and there are a few funny parts, but it kind of makes you angry while you watch it.

I love you, manYes – This movie is downright hilarious.

Observe and ReportYes – A funny movie, the blond bitch is quite annoying as usual, but Seth Rogen puts on a good show.

Crank: High VoltageYes – Good action / comedy, we kept cracking up while watching this one.

WatchmenNo – Sadly the movie is very drawn out and has alot of parts that really are irrelevant, and then some. Plus the ending was enough to call this movie “Suck”.

The HangoverYes – Hillarity ensues the entire film.

He’s just not that into you50/50 – It’s kind of funny but kind of annoying.

Iron ManYes – I know this is old, but it was a great movie. Looking forward to the sequel.

BronsonNo – Alot of cock footage and a drawn out movie. If you like to see dicks and alot of the same thing over and over, then this is for you.

And an old one:

Pirates of Silicon ValleyYes – I made Beth watch this one last night. It’s from 1999, and is about the history behind microsoft and apple computers. It’s not a documentary, its really good. I recommend you see it if you never have. Pick it up at the library sometime of find it floating around the interwebz.

Tonight we will continue watching Hells Kitchen and try to find some more good films. Keep you posted.

Firefox addons

9 07 2009

I would like to share my Firefox addons that I find useful, just in case you are new to Firefox and would like a tip.

#1 – Ad block Plus – (This one is Important) – This really helps getting rid of annoying ads and crap that cause pages to load slow. This is what I install first after a fresh install of firefox.

#2 – Xmarks. I have two computers myself, and I reinstall operating systems a lot. having my bookmarks/favorites always synchronized is GREAT! I could not live without this addon.

#3 Google Preview – This is also a good one. When you search google, you get a little preview picture next to the search results. That way when you are searching for starcraft maps, you dont goto a russian porn site. It helps. It also helps you find sites you previously viewed and cant remember the URL.

And of course I will always add more when I find them. I have other addons but they are not a necessity.

Personas for firefox is kind of neat too!

July looks to be a good month for computing!

22 06 2009

I write that heading due to the fact that Windows 7 RTM will be made available July 10th. 2009. (per http://www.downloadsquad.com/2009/06/22/windows-7-rtm-final-build-on-schedule-for-july-10th/)This is good news. Windows 7 has a ton of improvements over Windows Vista. It’s much quicker. A few months ago I participated in the Beta program and it was quite a nice experience. Right now two of the PC’s are running XP, while one is running Vista, and the other two are running Ubuntu 9.04 (Waiting for 9.10 and the ext4 file system, plymouth.. etc)

I also think that StarCraft II beta invites will start being sent out around that time. I cant wait to get my hands on a copy of that! As for now I am going to see if I cant put the Original StarCraft onto a flash drive and play on my EeePC. Time will tell.
